  • Why are you here? What is your purpose?

Everything that exists within the Universe; ourselves included; must abide by certain Universal Laws. I would like to talk about one of those in particular, the Universal Law of Cause and Effect. “For every cause there is an effect and for every effect there is a cause.” In other words, it really is true, “Everything happens for a reason.”

Whatever it is that’s going on in the Universe, rest assured it is the effect of some cause. Which; in turn; becomes the cause of some other effect. And so on, and so on, throughout eternity. If you’ve ever believed that life was just one big series of random happenstances, this Universal Law states otherwise. Analyzing this a little further, if nothing is random, then everything that exists, exists because some cause called it forth into existence. In other words, the “effect” is the resulting mathematical key that fit the puzzle of the “cause” which was the previous effect of some other previous cause. It could be argued that everything is evolving from one form to another by way of this Universal Law.

As nice as it would be to sit back and fully understand exactly what the effect would be for whatever cause we might ponder, we cannot. However, it would seem to me that it’s not just random. Otherwise, if any random cause resulted in any number of random effects, one day the wind would blow and instead of the leaves moving on the trees, the grass would grow instead. The effect must somehow be relative to the cause. Knowing all of that, it’s not too hard to fathom that you yourself are a key that fits a certain need within the Universe. You do have a purpose here on this earth, everything has one. What purpose were you called forth for? What are you here to give of yourself to make this a better world for all? Wake up every morning being the change you wish to find. Cause it to be created within yourself, and you will affect others just the same.

  • “Why aren’t I accomplishing my goals?”

You are driven by your emotional field. What your emotions tell you are there; becomes the reality you experience. You can “say” something all you’d like, but if you don’t fully believe it to be true; heart, mind and soul; it never will be, despite your own best attempts to convince yourself or those around you.

The story of ‘The Little Engine That Could that you’ve heard your entire life, “I think I can, I think I can!” doesn’t really hold water against what’s really going on in your mind. Your words and your beliefs mean everything. If you believe you’re afraid of something, that is usually enough catalyst to prevent most from even trying. They’ve gone from thinking they might be afraid of something to actually being afraid of it. They no longer think they can, they know they can’t. Conversely, as long as you are “trying” to do something you are never actually achieving it, because you’re still “trying,” which; be definition; means you’ve not succeeded. Remove the phrase “trying to” from your vocabulary. Rather, believe you are in the process of achieving. Stop believing “I don’t have this” and start believing those things are on their way to you and success is immanent. Everything is a placebo. Everything you believe is in front of you, will be manifested by your belief that it is. You can think yourself sick and you can think yourself healthy. You can think yourself rich and you can think yourself poor. In short, you don’t achieve your goals because you don’t fully believe you can and therefore lack the willingness to even try. Start believing you are a creator and here on this earth to create the best version of yourself that you believe yourself to be. Once you start believing in your own greatness, you will begin to see evidence of it everywhere you look.

Make the last goal you didn’t achieve, the last goal you didn’t achieve.

  • You are today, the accumulation of all your yesterdays combined.

Everything you do, say and feel are all coming from a place of conditioning. You are who you are because of your past experiences. New experiences can change how you feel tomorrow; so, it is possible to change your patterns you’ve developed your entire life when certain experiences warrant you questioning your belief system.

You must move forward understanding that your experiences and belief systems aren’t shared by everyone. Others have had different experiences that you haven’t. Perhaps they’ve had experiences contrary to yours and they’ve developed opposing views. You’ll never grow beyond where you are right now by never engaging with those of opposing opinions. Only communicating with those you agree with will only serve to concrete the beliefs you already have and leave no room for growth.

You only understand what “cold” is so well because you’ve experienced the opposite by way of heat. It’s called relativity. Doesn’t it only stand to reason that the best way to appreciate your own beliefs is to engage others who might oppose? If your only argument is to BE right, you’ll never open your mind enough to GET it right.
